The AI gave a wrong answer — how do I fix it?

Almost always a content fix, not a model one.

A grounded AI repeats what it read. A wrong answer nearly always means the content it read was wrong, ambiguous or missing.

Find what it used

Open the conversation in your inbox and look at the citations on the answer. They name the exact passages it drew on.

Then, in order of bluntness

  1. Fix the source. If a page is out of date, correct it and re-sync the source from the agent's Sources tab.
  2. Add a Q&A pair. Question plus the exact answer you want given. This is the strongest steer available and it takes a minute.
  3. Remove a misleading source. If an old page keeps surfacing, delete that source.

Check your work

Ask the same question again in the Playground. You should see the new citation.
