The widget is not only a chat box. Its bottom bar has five tabs:
- Home — the greeting, an ask box, your suggested questions and a card linking your newest help articles
- Messages — this visitor's conversations with you
- News — your published changelog entries
- Roadmap — your public feature requests, where a visitor can vote
- Help — your help centre articles, searchable, readable without leaving the page
Every tab reads from the same content you manage in the dashboard. Publish a changelog entry and it appears under News; publish an article and it appears under Help.
