Common pricing questions
Can I try it free?
Yes — the free plan needs no card and includes 50 AI replies a month, which is enough to train an agent on your site and watch it answer. Upgrade when you outgrow it.
What counts as an AI reply?
One resolved answer the AI sends to a customer. Human replies from your team are always free and unlimited.
What happens if I go over my AI replies?
The AI stops answering for the rest of the month and asks visitors to leave their email instead, so you never get a surprise bill. Your inbox keeps working, and upgrading lifts the limit immediately.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month; cancel from the billing portal and you keep access until the period ends.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, case by case. Email support@chattering.ai and we'll sort it out — we'd rather refund someone who isn't getting value than hold them to a month they didn't use. There's also a free plan with no card, so most people never need to test this.
Are you SOC 2 compliant?
No. We hold no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA certification and don't claim to — the security page lists every control that is actually in place, and we'll answer any security questionnaire honestly, including the rows where the answer is 'not yet'.
